Introducing Brian Week 3
Hello all and thanks for visiting, This is Brian. He is a very young American Pit Bull Terrier. He was born on Dec 17 2008.
He went to his new vet on Jan 7 2009. Its very important to take your puppies to the vet and keep them vaccinated.
Since I have my own server and have php/html/sql skills I figured id make him a page to document his life and development, the good and the bad.
So I will update this page weekly/monthly with his firsts some hopefully lasts and the things I have learned about owning a APBT.
Week 4
We got Brian very young. He was seprated from his mother at a very young age. However we decided to take the challage and give him the love, nutriction, guideance, and good home that he clearly needed.
My self I have never owned a APBT. However I have had two kid's and lot's of different kind of puppies. So I simply did as a mother would do. We got him home made sure he had a bottle of formula (givin to us by the vet), used the potty, gave him love and of course a blanket to snuggle up in and rocked him to sleep on my chest.
We got him at three week's and he is now four week's and is doing so much more now. He has adjusted very well. Eating great, playing (I have found him to be very frisky in the morning's while I am getting ready to go to work), using the restroom where he is suposed to and also does a very great job of waking us up to use the restroom at night while we are sleeping.
Now that we have gotten Brian I have became a picture freak, just about everything he does is on my camra. I love him to peice's he is pretty much like the little boy that I never had. (He's my baby). I am very excited to see what activites that he take interest in as he get's older.
Please feel free to visit anytime to look at his picture's as they will be updated often. Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful day..
Week 5
Well now we are going into week 5 and the dogs health is great. He no longer sucks a bottle and has a full set of teeth. His training is going pretty well some times it seems like he tries other times it seems like he just doesn't give a shit. But I try my best to have patience even thou one night he will do what is expected and the next morning he wont. But he is young and I gotta roll with the punches. I was prepared for this when I got him.
lso he is very smart. To smart. He can now run without falling (damn it he's getting into the toilet paper now) Ok now were was I he eats like a monster. I feed him wellness puppy and a few days ago he started drinking water on his own. It was starting to worry me but the vet said
to mix a lot of water with his food and he will eventually drink water no dog has ever been so stupid that he wont eventually drink
But he's happy and I'm happy with him. My girl loves the dog a lot to she teats him like a baby and the dog loves it. Me I treat him fair. And play a lot with him but I don't treat him like a baby I gotta keep the alpha male leader of the pack thing going yah know. But I do slip up every now and then. And am a big softy.
